This movie argues the fact that he’s a prisoner on his mind,and that he doesn’t trust people but he was passed down a sword that was really powerful and caused a lot of anguish so it had to be stopped.It was ran by a real powerful member of a group.Now the torch is passed down to a kid who doesn’t know what hes doing but still succeeds,It was known that he was the last one standing of his bloodline,A.J medina killed it in this movie,showing his style that he can handle being stuck on a island in the middle of nowhere,Hoping youll make it back home with everything still on your back is the real struggle,The chemistry between the film and the story was beautiful showing the power of patience and surviving everyday and learning to survive of your instincts.Sorta like street instincts making weapons and learning how to build and kill and starting a fire with some rocks and flint or a lighter,or figuring out to generate enough water to survive if there isnt any enemies. It’s survival of the finest,there’s enough ways to take down a tree,day by day you gotta stay alive and if you die in the process you did something worth it.Put your life on the line? Or die? This book describes that exactly.This shows having confidence and not giving up even when you lost everything. 100%
